What is a Disney Fine Art Giclee?
Giclee is an invented name for the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing The term is often used instead of Inkjet in art shops. The word “giclée”, from the French language word "gicleur" meaning "nozzle", was created by Jack Duganne, a printmaker working in the field, to represent any inkjet based digital print used as fine art. The intent of that name was to distinguish commonly known industrial "Iris proofs" from the type of fine art prints artists were producing on those same types of printers. The name was originally applied to fine art prints created on Iris printers in a process invented in the early 1990s but has since come to mean any high quality ink-jet print. A Disney Fine Art Giclee would typically be a picture of Micky Mouse golfing, or some similar old picture produced in this style, rather than say a cel, which is a single frame from an actual cartoon.

PLEASE ANSWER: GCSE ART FINAL PIECE EXAM?
I'm doing my 3 projects on, "A journey through space" , " Street Culture" and "Cartoons",
So for my ten hour exam, i was thinking of doing something on canvas. Something that was very different compared to what most people are doing.
I looked around and found artists such as Ben Allen who has become such a big inspiration to me.

If i produced something like this ^ for my final piece, used different styles of art and material and included all things in my projects on my final piece, would it be graded well? With of course the quality at high standards :L

I don't see why it wouldn't get a good grade....(My teacher told me that if the research is good in the course work, building up to the final piece, then you get a better grade...if you have to do course work in your gcse ^^) xxxxox
